Why does it taste so good? Is it because I am damn hungry all the time!! The worst thing to do for any foodie is to watch someone else eating. Yeah, ‘Joey doesn’t share food!’
I wish I could tell you how happy and content I feel after having a croissant with vanilla filling. It felt like heaven. Like I have accomplished something.
Just the sight of that croissant gave me a pleasure and an irresistible desire to take a bite. From the light glazing of butter on the top to the creamy vanilla filling inside..yummm.. it is indeed a treat.
Sometimes I just gobble it all in one go. But today I turned off the music I was playing and relished the taste through every bite. Removing the flaky layers one by one and thinking how it has been baked so perfectly soft, that it just melts in my mouth. 🙂
Wish I had the patience to eat food like this everyday, enjoying every bite instead of taking it all in one go. 😉
