Space and Time

We were together once,
Sharing the same time and space
All the joys and sorrows
Rejoicing in the pleasure and comfort
Of the little space and infinite time we had.

But space and time are dimensions
We tried so hard to be together
But the time just kept running
The little space was no longer enough.
The space just grew with time
We moved apart until there was,
Nothing more in common.

Now we are in different spaces at the same time.
The space holds us back from them.
There seemed to be no way to get back
Time had taken us too far!

When we finally met one day
While traversing through space
We couldn’t feel the same
Time killed all the memories in the spaces we shared
Like we had never shared the same space and time.

Space and time created oblivion
I wish space and time were constants
We could be together infinitely
We will never be apart
We don’t have to run to beat time
We shall not run out of love
We shall just take a stroll through the rat race
Just us and our infinite time in our little space!
